TO: Incoming Masters Students It was a pleasure seeing all of you during the Memo Workshop. Per some students' request, following are three PDF files of sample memos I thought were examples of great policy analysis and writing in graduate school. PUAF 780 First Memo - National Missile Defense & Destler's Grading Comments These memos can also serve as models for writing: • the third and fourth memo assignments for Dr. Schick's PUAF 620 “Political Analysis” course and • the first memo assignment for Dr. Destler's PUAF 780 “American Foreign Policy-Making Process” course.
