Running Water
Our goal is to raise $10,000 through the help of 300+ participants in a 3.7 mile race/walk. Those donations will then go to the organization's charity: water to build a clear water well in the name of Running Water.

Project Description

We are addressing the social issue of worldwide access to clean water. Our venture will be a walk/run which simulates the 3.7 mile average distance women and children around the world must walk in order to gather drinking water. All of the race proceeds that our venture generates will be donated to charity:water. The impact of this project will be giving an entire community access to clean water for life. Our main activities will be first organizing the race. This process will include covering legal and waiver fees, managing signage and other race materials, advertising, etc. We want to be part of the Do Good Challenge in order to increase awareness of our project and push our efforts toward reaching our goal further.
