Executive education is central to the Maryland School of Public Policy's mission of developing leaders who make a difference both in their organizations and in the public policy arena. For over twenty years, the Office of Executive Programs has offered a wide range of award-winning educational programs in partnership with public, private, and non-profit entities. The Office of Executive Programs draws on the School's talented faculty as well as the resources of the larger University and the practitioner community in the design and delivery of tailored programs, technical assistance, and consultative services.

Students enrolled in the Program follow a prescribed curriculum, totaling 36 academic credits. Executive Master students attend evening classes which are held twice a week at the facilities of the Council for Excellence in Government located at 1301 K Street, NW in Washington, D.C. Students will move through the Program as members of a cohort and will have the opportunity to participate in numerous enrichment activities sponsored by the Council and the University of Maryland.
