Students in the Public Policy major are required to participate in either an internship or approved study abroad. Many students choose to do both! The School of Public Policy offers several abroad programs to exciting places such as Morocco, Ethiopia and China.
China's Philanthropic and Social Sector-- Policy and Management Perspectives
Students visit Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Shangli in China.
The Policy and Politics of Economic Development in Africa
Students visit Addis Ababa and a variety of locations in southern Ethiopia.
Education and Project Engagement with NGOs and Social Enterprises
This course runs for three weeks over the winter term, typically from the end of December to late January. Students work in Delhi and make short weekend trips to other locations in India.
Human Rights, Security and Development
This course runs for three weeks during the winter term in January. Students visit Rabat, Casablanca, Fes, Marrakech, Volublis, Toufestelt and Ain Leuh.
