Arley Donovan

Special Events Assistant, Smithsonian National Museum

Arley recently began a job at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian as a Special Events Assistant. She was a member of Professor Bob Grimm’s pilot philanthropy class, which she took as her capstone for the College Park Scholars Public Leadership program. She stayed active in the Scholars community by volunteering as a student team leader on service day and representing Public Leadership at new student visit Maryland days. She also worked at the Richard E. and Nancy P. Marriott Foundation during her senior year as a Foundation Assistant, as well as interning with Professor Grimm and the Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership. This summer she worked on an island off the coast of Portsmouth, NH serving ice cream and hot dogs to Unitarian Universalists. Currently, Arley is apartment searching in Washington D.C. which is also like a full time job.
